Your new opportunity Quarriers services Westview Care Home and The Coach House are located in Greenock, Inverclyde and both services provide residential accommodation and support to a number of adults who have a physical or learning disability. We are currently recruiting 2x part time Support Workers offering 1x 15 contact & 1x 30 contract hours per week to join our dedicated team. The service has two properties in close proximity and you will be required to work across both services. The main house is a large detached villa and The Coach House was purpose built in the grounds of Westview. Our ethos is building a relationship with each individual, establishing trust and bringing together a person centred support to deliver the best residential care. Working pattern: Both opportunities are part time, permanent contracts and required candidates who are flexible to work a variety of shift to meet the needs of the people we support. Support is offered 24/7 you will work based on a planned rota which will include early, late & weekend shifts on a rotational basis. There will also be additional sleepover shifts and those are paid at an hourly rate of £12.00. What you will need to bring to the role Compassion, understanding and ability to work under pressure. Confident in work with people 1:2:1 and in a community-based setting. Ability to identify and respond affectively to individual emotional support needs. Enthusiasm and self-motivation.
