Job Description You’ll be joining a ISP, Telecoms and Software business that provide the backbone to some of the UK's largest tech companies. You’ll be supporting one of their datacentres in Leeds and you’re a core part of the support for the solution. You’ll be responsible for making sure that the Datacenter runs smoothly both through preventative maintenance and monitoring as-well as planned and emergency repairs. Your team are due to play a key role in the businesses growth plans for the next two years. Training is offered for this role if you’re not from a datacentre technician background. If you’re experienced in electrical engineering or from an IT background and want to join a team that adds a good mix of disciplines then this is the role for you. You’ll be able to direct your own workload and be able to direct your specialism into a particular area of the role should you wish. Working hours are 9-5 with a 1 in 4 standby on call. Experience Needed: 1-2 years’ experience working in Electrical Engineering, IT Services (physically hardware focussed) or another related field.
