Job Description
One of our major clients is looking for Senior Project Managers who are:
✅ Able to provide safety, project, and commercial leadership to their assigned project managers and wider team members
✅ Able to lead and motivate a diverse team to deliver benefits to their organisation
✅ Equipped with strong communication skills to enable engagement with a wide range of stakeholders
✅ Comfortable negotiating a way through conflict
Key requirements of the role:
✅ Safety performance
✅ Delivery of assigned work packages in line with NEC4 contract conditions
✅ Cost and schedule performance of assigned work packages
✅ Risk management
✅ Management and leadership of assigned Project Managers
Qualifications
✅ Essential Skills and Experience
Engineering design and construction experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience with NEC3 or NEC4 contracts
Proven leadership experience in highly regulated environments (Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Defence, Pharma)
Full project lifecycle experience – from business case approval through to design, execution, and handover
Strong experience in change control and risk management
HND in an engineering, construction, or project management discipline
NEC4 ECC Accredited Project Manager
SMSTS certified
Electrical bias
Additional Information
Permanent staff preferred, umbrella contractor accepted
Sole UK national capable of securing SC
Hybrid working from Glasgow Client office 3 days/week
