Technical Sales Surveyor - Wolverhampton - Apply Now to join Stannah We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Technical Sales Surveyor to join Stannah's Dedicated Homelift Business. You will be responsible for delivering the sales of Homelift's, steplifts and ceiling track hoists by attending sales appointments. This covers all products being managed by the Uplifts operation within the public and private sectors of the domestic market. A strong industry understanding is desirable for this role. Ideally you will be based in the Wolverhampton area. Working closely with our supply partners to effectively manage the overall specification and installation of these domestic products. An essential requirement of the technical sales surveyor role is to have experience in assessing and surveying to a high standard of domestic lifts. A good understanding of the products involved would be beneficial but not essential. To succeed in this challenging role as technical sales surveyor, you will require excellent communication skills and first class personal presentation. Good standards of numeracy and IT literacy are equally important within this role. Key Responsibilities: To attend sales appointments for business to consumer customers and Local Authority clients. Ability to assess the needs of the client and specify suitable products. Provide accurate and timely quotations covering the specified product. Carry out thorough technical surveys on both own sales and sales made by SC s, completing all required documentation within a set KPI. Report back monthly sales figures. Liaise with sub-contractors to obtain quotations for building preparatory works where required. Attend joint visits with a builder when required. Carry out site check visits to confirm the site is ready for the installation, completing the required documentation. Provide advice and support to customer s builders. Identify and understand the organisational structures and procedures of all the Local Authorities within your designated area, developing good professional relationships with all personnel involved in the decision-making process. Demonstrate a commitment to your own personal development and undertake any training deemed necessary to enable you to fulfil your role. Be aware of own responsibilities for Health and Safety and ensure that good housekeeping is always maintained. Ensure that any near misses or accidents are reported correctly via the correct channels. Provide cover for other members of the Homelifts technical sales surveyors Team during periods of holiday or absence.
