We are delighted to be working with a highly backed, progressive business seeking their next Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support them in the next phase of growth, planned for 2024.
Working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer you play a huge part in shaping best practice across the facility and ensuring a high quality, motivating work environment for you and your colleagues. Your day-to-day duties will be highly varied but could include, but not limited to:
1. Ensure all Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality requirements are met.
2. Developing and delivering planned maintenance plans to plant and equipment.
3. Ensuring that all electrical equipment is in safe working order in line with current regulations.
4. Ensuring that all certificates of compliance are maintained and up to date in accordance with relevant legislation.
5. Ensure recording daily maintenance activity.
6. Running an efficient repair reporting system.
7. Purchasing and stock control of plant equipment spares and consumables.
8. Champion continual improvement activity through the development team and act as a change agent for maintenance activities.
9. Maintain a flexible approach to operations and undertake tasks for which he/she is technically competent.
10. Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
11. Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
The ideal Electrical Maintenance Engineer will have:
12. Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.
13. 17th/18th Edition Qualification.
14. Ability to work with a team and independently.
Working hours can be flexible between 6am and 6pm, however you will be expected to work 40 hours per week. Overtime is available for those that want it.
