From September 2025 we are seeking to appoint 3 highly passionate Youth Ministers to join our Forerunner Youth Ministry team and support the religious and faith mission of Worth School.
To be a Forerunner is to prepare the way for encounter with Jesus Christ. Empowered by a shared life of prayer, Forerunners embrace both a charismatic & contemplative lifestyle that points to Jesus, witnesses to the power and credibility of His Gospel, establishing a culture of discipleship at Worth and our partner schools.
Typical Forerunner responsibilities would include:
1. Delivering programmes of evangelisation to all Year groups
2. Discipling your designated house
3. Contributing to our culture of discipleship through prayer, pastoral presence and mentoring with both pupils and staff
4. Raising up student leaders
What we are looking for:
1. Practising Christian with sympathetic view towards the Catholic Faith and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church (as laid out in the Forerunner Commitment which is available on request)
2. Experience working in youth ministry
Desirable but not essential:
1. Formal qualification in either theology or youth work/ministry
2. Experience of working in a secondary school environment
3. Experience of running Alpha
4. Experience of delivering Catholic RSE
5. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
