Wantage Midwifery Led Unit is part of the Wantage community hospital. It has a wonderful, homely atmosphere with a birthing pool room for women choosing to birth in the community. There is a small yet dedicated team of midwives and support workers who provide care for birthing people and their families in the surrounding area. Wantage is a lovely and upcoming town in South Oxfordshire, ideal for families and ongoing transport links to London and the South coast. The Wantage team provide antenatal and postnatal care and run clinics in GP surgeries and the community hospital within the Wantage area, They are also on call to provide care to homebirths, midwifery led units and the delivery suite in Oxfordshire.
