Salary: £25,400 - £35,000 plus London Weighting Allowance £5,319 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
Location: Office Base is London TVC. This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working

ABOUT THE TEAM
This team is part of Global Operations within BBC Studios, headquartered at the TVC Centre. They encompass a variety of edit suites and a team of nine, including project managers, audio and video editors working on a range of content such as channel promos, podcasts and audiobooks.
THE ROLE
The Post Producer is the main point of contact for our largest internal stakeholder which creates channels promos. The post producer will support this stakeholder from pencil and briefing through to delivery, liaising and communicating with our customers to deliver projects through our facilities.
Key responsibilities:
* Working closely with stakeholders to ensure bookings and resource usage is appropriately planned, recorded and communicated. As EMEA core work has multiple bookings throughout the day.
* Managing our facilities which include edit suites (offline, online and grading) and dubbing suites as well as our remote edit platform, working together with our tech teams based in LatAm and London.
* Working closely with the creative team to complete versioning work, online, audio and delivery to our channel playout provider.
* Coordinating with the Production teams to schedule their work appropriately each month, reconcile and budget etc.
* Responsible for scheduling post-production, including quality control for the promotional material for BBC Studios 24 international channels and any associated deliverables for our affiliates, including social assets and localisation elements, as requested by the Creative team.
* Experience working with stakeholders' briefs and extract key details to brief our editors, synthesizing information from our editors making appropriate communication back to the client, anticipating issues and asking relevant questions to avoid under booking Edit Village resources
* Comfortable using Edit Village documentation and watching promos back to diagnose issues to manage the client in the most effective way and produce the best quality output.
WHAT DOES IT TAKE?
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
* Strong experience in a client-facing coordinating role within a production team or a post-production facility.
* Experience of delivering post-production projects, on time and on budget and of coordinating deliverables for productions.
* Excellent knowledge of broadcast, post-production and digital formats, processes and terminology and the ability to apply technical knowledge with confidence in a commercial environment.
* Good understanding of post-production workflows and knowledge of hardware/software required.
* Experience using Excel to produce clear month-end reporting on Edit Village usage and other reporting required by the Head of Post production and stakeholders.
