We have a fixed-term Operative, Bagging Operations role available within Aggregate Industries Limited, Woodhall Spa Quarry. This role is ideal for someone with Forklift experience, a flexible attitude, and a commitment to safety.

Woodhall Spa Quarry, Tattershall Road, Woodhall Spa, LN10 6YN
Rate:
£12.00 per hour (PAYE)
Contract Length:
2-3 months with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role
Shift Patterns:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid break)
Responsibilities:
1. Operate a Forklift Truck (FLT) to move and stock bulk bags
2. Load 850kg bags onto trailers
3. Assist with quarry operations, process plant, mobile equipment, and bagging plant operations
4. Work safely and comply with company Health & Safety policies
5. Minimise waste and improve efficiency
6. Carry out basic maintenance and housekeeping tasks
7. Work shift patterns, late nights, and weekends if required to meet production targets
8. Interact with customers professionally
9. Complete daily/monthly inspection reports
Essential Requirements:
1. Forklift licence holder (training provided)
2. Experience operating 2.5 and 3-tonne counterbalance forklifts
3. Ability to work independently and in a team
4. Punctual and able to follow work instructions and risk assessments
5. Basic maths and English skills
6. Understanding of Health & Safety procedures
Desirable Requirements:
1. Quarry experience or similar industry background
2. Experience in operating MEWP / Telehandler
3. Experience with bulk and 25kg bagging plant operation
