SEMH Teaching Assistant - Blackburn - January start
Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant with SEMH experience to work at a primary school in Blackburn. This position is to start after the Christmas break, and will be ongoing for the remainder of the academic year until July 2025.
You will be working on a 121 basis with a pupil in key stage 2. This pupil can display challenging behaviour at times but these reduce once they become settled with people. Therefore consistency is vital and please only apply to this role if you can commit to a full time role through until July 2025.

Experience, Training and qualifications:
* Experience working with students with SEMH
* GCSE English and Maths grade C or '4' & above
* Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)
* Up to date Prevent training & FGM issued in the last 3 years (essential, however training can be provided)
* Up to date behaviour management training (desirable, however training can be provided)
To be eligible you must have/be:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide a minimum of two references covering the last 2 years
