Job: Registered Manager – Children's Home
Location: Bexhill, UK
Salary: GBP60,000 per annum
Role: Full–time, Permanent
Are you a compassionate, dedicated leader with a strong commitment to enhancing the lives of vulnerable children and young people? We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Manager to oversee a high–quality children's home in Bexhill, providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.
We are collaborating with a leading provider of social care services dedicated to supporting children and young people. Their mission is to deliver exceptional care and foster environments where young people can grow, thrive, and reach their potential.
Key Responsibilities for the Registered Manager:
1. Lead the day–to–day operations of a children's residential home, ensuring high standards of care, safety, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
2. Oversee all aspects of care delivery, from health and education to social and emotional well–being.
3. Manage and support a team of residential care staff, offering supervision, guidance, and training to ensure best practices.
4. Ensure all care plans and interventions meet the individual needs of the children and young people, while maintaining a person–centered approach.
5. Develop and sustain positive relationships with local authorities, external agencies, and stakeholders to enhance the quality of care and support provided.
6. Oversee staff recruitment, training, and professional development, promoting a positive and growth–oriented work culture.
Qualifications and Requirements for the Registered Manager:
1. Proven experience in a leadership role within children's residential care or a similar setting.
2. In–depth knowledge of regulatory standards and best practice guidelines within the social care sector.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively at all levels.
4. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
5. A management qualification in social care, such as Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
