Role Description KERB Events Limited is a joint venture with Compass Group UK. As part of this partnership, KERB Events Limited are one of the F&B providers for this high-profile amusement park and events venue in Margate. As the Food and Beverage Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day operations of our public-facing catering and onsite bars, ensuring excellence in quality, sustainability, and guest experience. You’ll also oversee internal hospitality and commercial events, working closely with the on-site venue teams. With a focus on collaboration, you’ll develop new business by working with KERB’s internal teams to identify and cultivate local food traders, creating a thriving and innovative offering aligned with KERB’s ethos and standards in Margate. Additionally, you’ll identify new commercial opportunities within the local area. This is a hands-on role for a passionate hospitality professional who loves exceptional hospitality, brilliant food and drink, and driving success. Responsibilities Day to day management of the onsite based street food traders and independent businesses to build, retain and grow this community Identify and cultivate local new traders and food businesses who would fit the KERB ethos Be the main point of contact for this growing trader community, offering them support and providing excellent communication Working with the KERB food team on tenders and re-tenders for all areas of the project and facilitating pitches and onboarding. Working with KERB’s food team to ensure quality, consistency and innovation from all traders working at the venue with a key eye on sustainability Ensuring units aesthetics are being upheld to a KERB standard Understand, analyse and monitor trader performance Ensure compliance through the FoodAlert system Manage the day to day operations of the 7 day per week bar operation and other bars across the site Support with managing bar supplier relationships Organise and lead Month End Stock Takes in a hands on capacity Perform daily/ weekly line checks on key products Book and manage variable team via our partner staffing agency Constellation including, team training, briefing and submitting timesheets Management of event-specific budgets, ensuring that all events are hitting target GPs Collaborate with KERB’s marketing teams to promote our trader community and develop unique content for our customers Full operational responsibilities including trader load in and out, trader placement, H&S checks, EPOS management, staffing, stock management, training, and management of food service and queues Support with budgeting, reporting, and managing financial performance of the business units Ensuring delivery of financial targets and Growth Performance Indicators within areas of responsibility.
