As the Legal Accounts Assistant, you will focus on maintaining daily client and office ledgers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SRA rules, managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable, and dealing with any client queries in a professional and timely manner.
Skills required:
* Proven experience in a similar role within a legal firm, with a strong understanding of Solicitors SRA Account Rules.
* Excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills that will allow you to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Be resilient, detail-oriented, and capable of performing well under pressure. This role carries significant responsibility, so we require someone with prior experience managing high-value transactions.
* Previous experience with preparation and processing of bills, managing ledger postings to client and office accounts, preparing monthly bank reconciliations, and producing monthly reports for all fee earners.
