Opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an award-winning civil engineering and building company in Bromsgrove.
Operating across a network of offices, they specialise in infrastructure and groundworks, predominantly in the residential sector, covering most of the UK.
Our client has been founded since 1995 and continues to expand after many years of overwhelming success.
They now boast 7 regional offices and a turnover approaching £250m, supported by a strong management team, many of whom joined the company as trainees and have worked their way up.
They are offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their West Region (Bromsgrove office).
The role - Civil Engineering Quantity Surveyor
This civil engineering contractor is searching for a hard-working and driven Quantity Surveyor who is looking to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Based in their Bromsgrove office, you will work alongside their production team, ensuring contractual control and cost management across a wide range of projects for the region.
You will be office-based with site visits within the West region.
You will be joining a strong and established team of Quantity Surveyors.
You will have exposure to the full project life cycle, with involvement from initial enquiry through to project delivery, and will be responsible for managing all commercial aspects relating to the projects, whilst achieving the highest standards to maintain the company's strong reputation.
The right person:
1. GCSE's Minimum 7 A-C / 5-9 including Maths and English
2. Minimum 4 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor and/or Assistant Quantity Surveyor
3. Experience working on residential groundwork schemes
4. General knowledge of contractual terms within construction
5. Excellent PC skills, in particular Excel
