We have been retained by a leading manufacturer of industrial door solutions, who are looking for a driven and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a great opportunity for you to make a significant impact in a growing company within the industrial door sector.
Role Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling a comprehensive portfolio of industrial doors throughout the South of England. You'll play a crucial role in building and maintaining customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Respond promptly to sales inquiries, conducting site visits to present, advise, and survey.
2. Develop product knowledge and best practices for site surveys.
3. Maintain regular contact with existing customers.
4. Liaise with clients on all aspects of contracts and terms.
5. Achieve sales targets and budgets.
6. Communicate effectively across various channels (phone, face-to-face, email, social media).
7. Create and implement personal business plans aligned with company strategy.
8. Report all activities, particularly on CRM systems.
9. Exclusively promote and sell supporting products.
10. Provide field intelligence and marketing material for planning purposes.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Proven track record in industrial sales in the Doors or Shutters industry.
2. Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
4. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales.
5. Experience in B2B sales.
6. Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
