The role The Advanced Manufacturing Research Facility (AMRF) at the Bradfield Development Authority (BDA) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Applications Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of manufacturing in NSW. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in engineering design, manufacturing technology, and technical project management to deliver pragmatic and thorough solutions to a variety of customers and collaborators. Acting as an interface between the AMRF’s technology portfolio and its clientele, you will ensure that customer requirements are understood and translated into actionable engineering solutions. Your adeptness at managing stakeholders, maintaining a pulse on over-the-horizon technologies, and problem-solving in real-time is essential for project success. As a Senior Applications Engineer, you will develop and execute technical manufacturing development programs, maintaining responsibility for projects from requirements gathering to successful customer delivery, including implementation and qualification. You will provide technical expertise and guidance to drive the successful completion of technical projects within the AMRF, collaborate with the Lead Applications Design Engineer to ensure efficient project delivery, and utilize all manufacturing technology onsite to accelerate the adoption of qualified manufacturing solutions.
