Role Purpose
Due to an increase in workload, we are currently looking for an additional Production Manager to join Bridges on a permanent and full-time basis.
This is an exciting venture for Bridges and brings with it the opportunity to work on a project with sizable value to the business. You will have the chance to take a lot of ownership of the project, with support from the contract manager and various internal stakeholders.
During the construction phase, the project manager will be expected to visit the site frequently. Although working from home can be flexible, there will be expectations to come to our HQ in Midsomer Norton often.
This role would suit a project manager looking to take the next steps into a senior project management capacity.

Role Overview
As a Manager, you will be accountable for the effective management and delivery of multiple production projects on behalf of Bridges. You are expected to lead and set an example throughout the business ensuring promotion and demonstration of our values in your dealings with peers, staff, customers, and clients. The value, complexity, and quantity of the projects in a portfolio will be linked to experience and competence.
The Role
Contracted to 42.5hrs per week, Monday to Friday.
* Control project expenditure
* Have structured involvement in the design phase
* Line manage the manufacturing & production team
* Production and management of H&S documentation
* Liaison with all project stakeholders
* Manage client expectations
Requirements
* Experienced with working on a full range of industrial-based engineering products
* Clear understanding of contract models and project finances
* Experience working in a product development, manufacturing & production environment
* Experience working with process control & intelligent P&ID's
* Experience in using Microsoft Office packages
