Your role of Steward at Historic Environment Scotland is a part-year permanent position up until 30 September 2025. The likely start date for this role is in March 2025.

Based at Kildrummy Castle, you will prepare the site for visitors each day and welcome visitors to the site during the summer season. Assisting visitors with information and the most suitable tickets and products, you will make sure they have the best possible experience of this site with its rich history.
The wide variety of visitors to Kildrummy Castle makes this an interesting and varied role, with the opportunity to give guided tours to small groups of appreciative visitors.
You may also be asked to work from time to time - no more than once a month - at Corgarff Castle, 20 miles away. Travel expenses will be paid for this and all other work travel.
