Countryside Management Lecturer Northamptonshire
Location: An Ofsted-rated Good college in Northamptonshire
Salary: £27,238 - £39,941 per annum
Contract: Full-time, 37 hours per week
The Role
You will be teaching Levels 1-3 in Countryside Management, covering:
* Countryside management methods, including soil analysis, machinery use and maintenance
* Practical and theoretical elements of livestock management
* Use of the college's dedicated countryside management centre, a purpose-built facility for land-based education
Candidate Requirements
* A minimum HNC qualification in a relevant subject
* Knowledge of freshwater and wetland management, countryside recreation, urban habitat management, and ecology
* Additional expertise in arboriculture or ecology is desirable
* Willingness to work towards a teaching qualification (TQ)
* Happy to undergo an enhanced DBS including the child barred list in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education
