Join Team Boughey as a Key Account Executive
We are currently recruiting a Key Account Executive for our Customer Services Department at our Lymedale site, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire (ST5 9QG).
You will be dealing with varying enquiries from customers. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure service requirements are met delivering on contractual KPI’s. Able to assist with the operational needs of a busy growing department and business.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and take responsibility for key customer accounts to ensure they are happy with their service.
2. Acquire a thorough understanding of key customers’ needs and requirements.
3. Handle and resolve all levels of customer enquiries both verbally and in writing.
4. Ensure the correct advice and service levels are delivered to the customers in a timely manner.
5. Expand relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.
6. Complete accurate administration making sure all data is up to date on all Company systems.
7. Attend customer meetings when required to serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.
8. Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships.
9. Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
10. Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders to maintain the highest standards with due regard to customer requirements and in line with HARA, BRCGS, and any other internal or external legislations.
11. Support and deliver on the Company mission, vision, and live and promote the Company Values.
12. Be aware of and adhere to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy, taking responsibility for the health, safety, environmental, and welfare of yourself and others in your departments.
13. Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.
What we are looking for:
1. Good level of understanding of IT systems
o SAP – an advantage; however, full training will be provided
o Excel
o PowerPoint
2. Basic knowledge of order processing and stock reconciliation
3. Ability and willingness to problem solve considering business constraints.
4. Proactive in their approach to work with the ability to prioritise their own workload.
5. Ability to work well across functions both internally and externally.
6. Tenacity and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
7. Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
8. Prioritisation and time management skills.
9. Math and English GCSE Grade C or equivalent.
What we offer:
1. Location: Lymedale, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, ST5 9QG.
2. Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (08:30 to 17:00 hours – 60 mins unpaid lunch break)
3. Salary: £26,070.63 per annum.
4. Enhanced holidays of 33 days inclusive of Bank Holidays.
5. Option to purchase up to 5 days additional holiday.
6. £300 annual attendance bonus.
7. Cycle to work scheme.
8. Onsite parking – free of charge.
