GTA (General Teaching Assistant) (E6595) - Tadcaster Grammar School
Thank you for your interest in the post of General Teaching Assistant.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has high aspirations for students, is committed and passionate about learning, has the skills, patience, and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and support them to live up to our motto, ‘Be your best self’.
We have the option of either a permanent full time (27.08 hrs pw) or part time (16.25 hrs pw) contract, term time only (including training days). Your working days will be Monday - Friday. There may be the option to undertake additional paid break duties.
Our school ambition focuses on developing a culture whereby all students can achieve highly and will be supported whatever their background or ability. This relies on providing learning and teaching of the highest possible quality to engage, enthuse, and motivate. At TGS we do not limit our definition of achievement simply to traditionally academic pursuits.
As part of the STAR Multi-Academy Trust, TGS provides a high-quality learning community that inspires and motivates its employees as well as its students. Thus we are seeking a candidate who wants to make a positive difference to the lives of young people and has a commitment to lifelong learning in order to be an outstanding member of our team. We support colleagues who are ambitious for their own professional development, have a ‘can do’ attitude, are creative problem solvers, and work collaboratively.
We offer a range of extensive opportunities, incentives, and benefits to staff including:
* Access to STAR MAT’s employee benefits website with discounts on retailers, holidays, days out, and so much more.
* Access to our Employee Assistance helpline for a range of free and confidential advice with a variety of support materials available.
* Continuous training and development opportunities.
The STAR Multi Academy Trust prides itself on the work that it does supporting young people and welcomes all applications. The Trust is committed to equality and to making fair and equitable treatment an integral part of everything we do. The Trust is also committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. The post is subject to a successful DBS check and pre-employment checks will be undertaken before an appointment is confirmed.
The above post is not a Leeds City Council vacancy and has been advertised on behalf of the relevant organisation. To apply please follow their application instructions.
