About the role
Are you an experienced Construction Manager with a strong track record in delivering complex, high-value projects? We are looking for a skilled professional to lead construction activities on a highly sensitive defence project in Berkshire.
This is a unique opportunity to work on a mission-critical programme within a secure environment, overseeing multiple disciplines, ensuring safety, quality and programme objectives are met.
What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety and security regulations.
2. Manage contractors, sub-contractors and internal teams to deliver work packages on time and within budget.
3. Liaise with stakeholders, designers and engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
4. Implement and enforce quality control measures and risk mitigation strategies.
5. Report progress to senior leadership and escalate issues where necessary.
Who we're looking for
1. Proven experience as a Construction Manager on large scale complex projects.
2. Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and construction best practice.
3. Ability to lead and co-ordinate multi-disciplinary teams in a high security environment.
4. SC Clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
5. Excellent communication skills.
