In this role you will be required to complete audits, complete Inphase investigations, manage staff sickness and have the ability to support the ward manager in ensuring high standards are met on the ward. This will include supporting staff to ensure they are up to date with trainings and competencies and completing achievement reviews of staff members to ensure their potentials are met in their developmental needs. To provide the highest standard of professional nursing care to patients admitted with an acute medical condition, in conjunction with the inter-professional team. To be responsible for the efficient operational management of the ward and to lead the team on a daily basis liaising closely with the Unit Manager. To act as a professional role model and effective Leader; able to work independently and demonstrate clinical expertise in all aspects of patient care.
