Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is experienced and confident in business development, who has experience in a field-based sales role and preferably experience of selling products within the engineering, laser-cutting or fabrication/sheet metal industry.
Necessary Skills/Experience

• Full driving licence
• Ability to read engineering/CAD drawings
Preferable Skills/Experience
• Experience in either the Laser-Cutting, Engineering, Fabrication / Sheet Metal or Steel Processing industry
About the role
Type: Permanent
Location: Maidenhead, Berkshire (Hybrid role – structure to be confirmed)
Hours: ~ 08:00 – 16:30
Salary:
• Basic ~£40,000 - £50,000
• Uncapped commission (performance related)
• Car Allowance initially with scope for company car after extended employment
The Business Development Representative will generate and develop sales for the Company’s portfolio products and equipment, predominantly to the manufacturing, film, pharmaceutical and design markets across the UK.
The role will include:
• Identifying and generating new business opportunities within the laser-cutting market.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Qualifying leads and converting prospects into long-term clients including the negotiating of pricing, terms and delivery schedules with assistance from the technical team.
• Meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs.
• Working with the design team to understand customer requirements, ensuring optimal product specifications and quality.
