The Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our students' social, emotional, and academic development. Working closely with staff, students, and families, you will:
1. Build positive relationships to help students manage their behaviour and emotions.
2. Support classroom learning and provide one-to-one or small group mentoring.
3. Develop and implement personalised strategies to improve behaviour and engagement.
4. Act as a role model, promoting self-confidence, resilience, and respect.
5. Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment.

1. Experience working with young people, particularly those with behavioural needs or in alternative education settings.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
3. A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to challenging situations.
4. The ability to work as part of a dynamic team and build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
5. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
1. Previous experience in a mentoring, youth work, or educational support role.
2. Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and restorative practices.
3. Relevant qualifications in education, youth work, or social care.
