Role & Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with ASD, MLD, SLCN, and ADHD. Assist in implementing EHCPs and individualized learning strategies. Use visual aids, sensory tools, and positive behavior management techniques. Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging, adaptive lessons. Promote social interaction, communication, and emotional regulation. Monitor progress and provide feedback to the SENCO/teaching team. Ideal Candidate: Experience working with SEN (especially ASD, ADHD, or MLD) in a school or care setting. Training in PECS, Makaton, Team Teach, or ABA (desirable but not essential). Patience, resilience, and creativity to engage learners with diverse needs. A proactive, compassionate approach and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
