Electrician - Installation & Maintenance
Location: South Wales
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: £18 - £20 per hour
Benefits: Overtime, 25 days holiday plus banks, pension, company van - can be used for private use.

Job Description:
You will play a key role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial buildings. You will be responsible for ensuring that all installations meet safety regulations and code requirements while providing outstanding service to the client.

Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems for commercial properties, including lighting, wiring, circuits, and electrical panels.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure proper operation.
Collaborate with project managers and other team members to complete electrical installations in new construction and renovation projects.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical codes to ensure compliance.
Respond promptly to emergency service calls and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with relevant safety regulations and codes.
Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor with clients.
Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each task.
Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working order.
Qualifications:
City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations.
Proven experience in commercial electrical installations and maintenance.
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
