Job Description The Assistant General Counsel shall assist in providing general legal services to senior administrators, faculty, and staff. Primary responsibilities will include drafting and reviewing contracts, corporate documents, and policy manuals; conducting legal research; and providing legal counsel on an array of areas including academic and student affairs, sponsored research, international programs, governance, policies, human resources, purchasing, real estate, construction, intellectual property, and litigation matters. Required Qualifications Law degree from an ABA -accredited law school 1 year of experience (3 years preferred) Licensed to practice in Tennessee (preferred), Virginia, Kentucky, or Florida
