Engineering Capture Manager
As an Engineering Capture Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving the success and growth of our Aerospace and Defense business. You will be responsible for leading and managing the capture of new engineering projects and opportunities and developing engineering talent to deliver to our customer's needs. Your expertise in engineering, line management, and commercial acumen will be instrumental in ensuring the successful acquisition of new business and the growth of our customer base. In this role, you will work closely with the sales and customer business team to support business development activities and with across-functional teams to develop and execute capture strategies, identify customer needs, and deliver innovative solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.
You will report directly to our Head of Engineering and you will work out of our Edinburgh location.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the growth and success of our Aerospace and Defense business. Your ability to understand defense RF products and your experience in a customer-facing role will be critical in identifying and capturing new business opportunities. Your strong leadership and line management skills will enable you to effectively lead and manage cross-functional teams throughout the capture process.
This role will have line management responsibility of a team of engineers and scientists who are dedicated to delivering solutions and capabilities to our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Lead and manage the capture of new engineering projects and opportunities
2. Develop and execute capture strategies to win new business
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify customer needs and deliver innovative solutions
4. Provide technical guidance and expertise throughout the capture process
5. Drive the growth of our Aerospace and Defense customer base
YOU MUST HAVE
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
2. Line management experience
3. Good commercial acumen
4. An understanding of defense RF products
5. Experience in a customer-facing role
