We work with some of the UK’s biggest companies and government departments to provide a pragmatic approach to technology, delivering bespoke software solutions and expert advice. This role will be working directly for Logical Holdings, our Group company. As a Senior Legal Counsel, you’ll be working alongside the Group Chairman and Head of Finance on Governance, Commercial and Risk Management matters for the Group. The role underpins the delivery of Group operations, through defining the operating governance to support both parent and subsidiary operations and provides legal counsel and support to the C-Suites of the trading subsidiaries. To be successful in this role you will need to have experience of all facets of commercial and contract management. You will enjoy balancing your time between tactical day to day deal negotiations and contract mark ups as well as more long-term strategic projects. As with most in-house roles, there will be plenty of variety including compliance and risk management, data protection, corporate governance, M&A, insurance and litigation support and competition as well as the provision of on-going training. You will be responsible to driving change and will be a lynchpin linking disparate parts of the business so your stakeholder skills will be excellent. You will be comfortable operating independently with no oversight. To succeed in this role, you will hold the following experience. A qualified lawyer with 3 years post-qualification experience either in private practice or in house Ability to work independently and provide commercial and technically accurate advice under pressure and tight timelines. The ability to quickly build strong and credible working relationships with internal operational and commercial management, non-legal stakeholders along with the external network of advisors.
