Our client is a leader in their field recruiting for a Process Engineer to join their growing team!
Process Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
* Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and to instigate and participate in continuous improvement activities
* Planning and executing the procurement, installation and qualification of manufacturing equipment
* Produce and maintain technical documentation such as operating instructions, inspection standards and PFMEAs
* Support existing product lines and processes throughout the entire life cycle
* Day to day support of production, troubleshooting issues with manufacturing equipment
* Abide by and champion safe working practices when implementing new products, material processes or equipment
* Occasional travel to visit customers or suppliers
Process Engineer Ideal Candidate:
* Experience with electronics & mechanical CAD design (Desirable)
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and statistical process techniques (Desirable)
* Familiarity with Mil standard and design for high reliability environments (Desirable)
* Experience of die bonding and wire bonding in a manufacturing environment
* Demonstrable experience in the electronics industry, ideally in a manufacturing environment
* Degree/HNC in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience
* Demonstrated organisational, planning and program skills with careful attention to detail
* Have a strong technical bias, with strong problem-solving abilities
* A good level of competence with MS Office applications for documentation and presenting reports
Working Hours and Benefits:
* Monday – Thursday: 08:00am – 16:30pm
* Friday: 08:00am – 13:00pm
