Search are delighted to partner with a SME company based near to Coventry to recruit an Accounts Assistant that has good experience in Payroll too.
The role will join a tenured finance team and report to the senior leadership team. This business is part of a large group and requires an Accounts Assistant with payroll and credit control experience.
The suitable candidate will have good general accounting skills (must have Quick Books experience), from a fast-paced background and strong attention to detail.
Other aspects include:
* Transactional purchase ledger invoicing
* Raising sales invoices
* Processing payments, BACS and transfers
* Dealing with suppliers and queries
* Month end closure and reconciliations
* Journals, prepayments and accruals
* Reporting
* Payroll
* Credit Control
The successful candidate will need to:
* Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good experience reporting to senior stakeholders
* Be able to establish good working relationships in a cross-functional environment with excellent communication skills
* Experience using Quick Books accounting software
* Have a positive attitude, flexible approach and a passion to learn
* Want to grow and develop and join a fast-paced environment
Salary
* £28,000 - £34,000 DOE
