Bespak are looking for a Process Safety Engineer for the Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE. The salary range for this permanent onsite role is between £54,000 and £64,000 plus a discretionary annual bonus. Working Pattern – Monday to Friday usual working times of 8.30am to 5.00pm with an 8:30am to 3:45pm finish on a Friday. There is some flexibility on start and finish times. As a Process Safety Engineer, you'll be the guardian of safe operations, preventing incidents by identifying and mitigating risks in manufacturing processes. This involves conducting hazard analyses, performing risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Perform risk assessments (QRA, FMEA, FTA). Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA PSM, COMAH). Develop and implement safety systems (SIS, pressure relief). Investigate incidents and conduct root cause analyses. Deliver process safety training to staff and contractors. Process Safety Engineer, beneficial key skills and experience: Qualified in Chemical/Mechanical/Process Engineering, or related field. Process safety experience in a relevant industry. Knowledge of hazard analysis techniques. Familiarity with OSHA PSM and other regulations. Understanding of process design and safety systems. Excellent analytical and communication skills.
