We are now recruiting to Catering Assistant at Florence Nightingale Community Hospital Derby .We are looking for compassionate, caring, hardworking, flexible team members that are committed to enhancing our patient experience. All staff working for UHDB play a key role in the organisation. You must possess excellent Communication skills the ability to work as part of a team and have a can-do attitude.
The hours available are:
8 hours: -
Saturday-Sunday 15.30 - 19.30pm
You will receive full training including a level 2 food safety and allergen training, other mandatory training and all essential to role training.

The main duties of a Catering Assistant working at Florence Nightingale Community Hospital Hospital are to work as part of Facilities & ward teams to carry out a variety of tasks associated with food preparation, food and beverage service to patients, visitors and staff.
• To deliver good principles of customer care ensuring helpfulness, awareness and compassion to patients, visitors, staff and colleagues.
• Cleaning duties within the kitchen and other associated areas in accordance with departmental cleaning schedules to include equipment, work surfaces crockery and cutlery.
You will ideally possess a good understanding of Mathematics and English. Have a good understanding of customer care and be able to communicate well with patients, staff and visitors. Catering experience and a Food Safety Certificate are desirable but not essential, skills and technical training will be given.
