We now have a great opportunity for a Pre-Sales Consultant/ Solutions Architect to work within our Cybersecurity business unit.
In this role, you will support the sales organization in building and maintaining an active customer base and developing new sales opportunities through the design and delivery of highly customized multi-technology solutions. This role is aligned to a number of specialist security vendors. You may be required to support multiple technologies.
Key Responsibilities
These can be summarised as follows:
* Provide technical solutions expertise to customers and their end users in a consultative sales environment.
* Co-own and project manage the technical elements of sales opportunities to successful closure.
* Engage with end users and resellers to help define appropriate multi-technology solutions to meet customer needs.
* Support internal and external sales teams to deliver technical quotes in line with defined service level agreements (SLA’s).
* Maintain new and current technical expertise across many security technologies.
* Develop and manage customer relationships with appropriate contacts.
* Conduct customer site visits (reseller and end user).
* Provide internal and external technical presentations and training.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role you will need the following:
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science or equivalent experience certifications preferred.
* High end certifications across security, networking or related technologies.
* Must have minimum seven (7) years of experience in similar roles / Industry as well as design/ deployment experience.
* Minimum of five (5) year experience in formal product presentations and/or technical sales training experience.
* Minimum of five (5) year vendor relations experience in a pre-sales vendor support role.
* Proven track record in being successful in a presales role.
* Proven ability to work independently, effectively in an off-site environment and under high pressure.
This role will require the successful incumbent to travel in the field, to help our resellers understand the inter-workings of today's complex technologies.
