Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver English lesson that meets the individual needs of students.
* Help students with their progress by taking a role in departmental support.
* Establish appropriate guidelines in the classroom and make sure they are followed consistently.
* Build strong rapport with students by creating an inclusive environment.
* Perform the professional responsibilities of a school teacher as outlined in the existing school policies, under the Senior Management Team's instruction.
* Continue personal development in the relevant areas including subject knowledge and teaching methods.
Key Requirements:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an overseas equivalent.
* Degree in English or a related subject.
* Newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply.
* Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Have knowledge and understanding of the implications of SEND Code of Practice for teaching and learning.
* Hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS, registered on the update service, or be willing to obtain one through GSL Education.
