DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
* Work 4 out of 7 shift patterns, including weekends, with shift premiums paid for weekends and bank holidays
* Perform store deliveries, including multi-drop of chilled goods (cages), milk tets and dolly's, ambient goods, and frozen items (cages, pallets depending on store)
* Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
* Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
* Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving License (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification, and Digital Tachograph Card
* Have a minimum of 1 year of driving experience
* Multidrop experience is not essential but would be an advantage
