We are currently working with a well-established and reputable national company to recruit a Human Resources Advisor to join their dynamic HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional looking to take on a generalist role with broad exposure across various HR functions.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a generalist or advisory HR capacity and will be confident in handling employee relations, policies, procedures, grievance management, and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert advice and guidance to line managers and employees on a variety of HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, grievance handling, and disciplinary procedures.
* Assist in the creation, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practice.
* Manage HR administration processes including recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee offboarding.
* Lead and manage employee grievance and disciplinary cases, ensuring a fair and consistent approach in line with company policies.
* Advise on and support the implementation of employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
* Ensure all HR records and employee data are accurately maintained and stored confidentially.
* Collaborate with the wider HR team and management to drive HR projects and initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate:
Our client is looking for an individual who has at least 3 years' experience working in a generalist or advisory HR role. You will need to be a confident communicator with a sound understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to provide practical, business-focused HR advice.
Essential Criteria:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in an advisory capacity.
* Either a degree or CIPD qualification at any level.
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with employees at all levels of the business.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* A proactive and solutions-focused approach to HR challenges.
* High level of discretion and professionalism when dealing with sensitive matters.
