These roles are an exciting opportunity to join the UK IC CDLT team and lead the Out-of-Home Customer Development team which is over 15% share of business and covers a wide range of channels, customers as well as end-to-end cabinet fleet management through WRS Division. In new separate ice-cream company, you will manage multiple customer accounts and be the first point of contact for external customers and facilitating Top-to-Top meetings. Your focus will be to establish standalone relationships with customers and build confidence in the new Ice-cream company during the de-merger process and beyond. You will develop senior level relationships with cross functional teams across the local, regional and global teams and be key leader responsible for the sales, step-up in frontline grip and execution of the new future Ice-Cream company. You will be responsible for stepping up frontline execution and customer service, delivering best in class execution of our cabinets, point-of-sale and field force execution to drive growth both for the new company and our customers. The role will give you the opportunity to operate as a mini-GM for the Out-of-Home business and navigate a career-first de-merger and set up of a new company. This role requires a leader who can inspire big teams and lead change programmes including the go-to-market sales capabilities, ensuring business continuity and establishing strong customer partnerships for the future. The successful candidate needs to be a self-starter, who is bold enough to challenge the status quo and take risks but with strong enough customer facing experience and rigor to deliver strong growth results even in disruptive market and customer conditions. JOB PURPOSE As the Out-Of-Home Sales Development Director, you will build and deliver customer specific plans to achieve volume, growth, and profitability targets. You will lead the CD teams across multiple customer accounts UK, building a new team to manage the end-to-end execution of the business. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in sales management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who is ready for their next leadership step-up managing a new separate sales team over multiple customer accounts responsible for delivery for both on-site and off-site digital sales working closely with B2B Shopper Marketing team. This leader is also a key member of the UK ICLT and will be crucial in creating the new Ice-Cream company sales team culture, leading for and contributing to the external customer engagement strategy and establish the future ways of working for sales teams both internally and externally. We are seeking an energetic, results-driven ice-cream lover with proven leadership abilities and passion for building customer relationships to join ice-cream business. They need to have demonstrated business impact in both customer development and in-market execution and transformation. RESPONSIBILITIES Establish and lead new IC company sales teams incl. Account Controllers, RBMs Develop and execute long-term OOH business strategy to ensure sustainable and profitable growth. As a key leader within UK ICLT, contribute to designing the future direction new sales organisation and culture Lead the development of joint business planning activities with key customers. Lead and execute the development of customer strategy and in market execution supported by cross functional teams including Shopper, category management and OOH Cabinets teams Create and deliver customer specific contact strategies. Lead the WRS cabinet team and operational transformation programme Responsible for accurate forecasting and in month delivery against that forecast. Build cross functional strategic relationships with key senior leaders internally and externally Build strong cross functional relationships with supply chain planning and customer services teams. Drive customer-centricity, using data and insight for successful in-market execution Coach and develop the team to drive actions with clarity, speed, and agility. Business Acumen – at the commercial end of our business, it’s critical you are fluent with the P&L of Unilever, and particularly the customer and marketing investment models. It would be ideal if you are also fluent in digital marketing & sales, and data driven decision making Customer Expert - You have a good understanding and experience working with CD roles (customers, customer management, CCD, customer marketing, CSP, Category Management, Shopper Marketing, CD Ops and CD finance). LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE: Relevant years’ experience in Customer roles with at least 5 years at CBM level. Consistent delivery of high-quality results in difficult trading environments and working within UK retail customers preferable Experience in Ice-cream or Snacking categories preferred Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive innovation and change. Have the ‘gravitas’ (experience, self-awareness, and interpersonal skills), allowing to interact with senior stakeholders effectively and efficiently across the company.
