I'm currently recruiting for a housing organisation for a Facilities Administrator on an ongoing temporary basis based within Watford.
Contract: Ongoing Temporary - Potential to be permanent
Pay: Hourly Rate based on £30,000 - £16 - £19 Per Hour (Paid weekly VIA Umbrella)
Location: Watford
Working Model: In the office
Please see below for role details.
1. Being the key contact person for all building occupants, offering a responsive repairs and maintenance service, organising contractors when needed, and taking day-to-day operational responsibility for postal services.
2. IT literate, with the ability to raise purchase orders to manage office supplies.
3. Monitoring the effective maintenance of the buildings, including reporting repairs, carrying out regular inspections, supervising cleaning standards, and project managing building renovations and alterations in conjunction with the property services team.
4. Providing a key day-to-day point of contact for all building occupants, including arranging for responsive repairs and maintenance.
5. Taking day-to-day operational responsibility for all postal services, including managing incoming, outgoing mail, and courier services.
6. Preparing and assisting with the organisation's meetings both internally and externally.
7. Ordering stationery and consumables for the office.
8. Scheduling works with contractors for the building.
What are they looking for?
1. Positive and proactive attitude towards change.
2. Ability to manage and prioritise own workload to account for responsive and planned business needs.
3. Confident use of IT systems, particularly Word and Excel, to accurately input and extract data.
4. Social Housing Experience.
