The right Maintenance Shift Manager will support the maintenance shift team within a site-based environment while leading a team consisting of a shift leader, skilled maintenance engineers, and maintenance assistants.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the shift team in day-to-day activities
2. Lead while managing customer expectations
3. Ensure that all the site equipment and machinery are maintained and repaired within the agreed scope
4. Ensure delivery to always achieve KPI targets
5. Undertake AMHE equipment servicing to the quality standards and time schedules set
6. Compliance with Health & Safety legislation at all times
7. Always look for continuous improvement and enhancement opportunities
8. Ensure spares are kept to the required levels
9. Ensure the delivery of key staff processes:
1. Team and individual attendance
2. Staff discipline
3. Staff development identified through appraisal
10. Fully interact with other engineering team leaders to ensure shift consistency while sharing best practices
Qualifications:
1. ONC, HNC, HND, BSC OR MSC in engineering
2. Understanding of PLC equipment
