Brook Street Social Care is recruiting on behalf of a client specialised in supporting children and young people in their every-day activities to create them the opportunity to enjoy life from a young age regardless of the challenges they have experienced previously.
The organisation is due to open a brand new Residential Home for Children in Salisbury and they are seeking a Registered Manager to head up the new home.
About the role:
* Oversee daily staff deployment and operations
* Participate in staff recruitment, monitoring, training, retention, and mentoring processes
* Promote personal and professional growth through appropriate task delegation
* Manage overall operations effectively
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive training plan, including induction, in compliance with the Care Standards Act
* Manage the environment in compliance with Health and Safety requirements, ensuring proper monitoring and documentation
* Safeguard children and young people's health, welfare, and development both within and outside the home
* Foster positive relationships with families, social workers, educators, and other professionals involved in the children's care
About you:
* You must have knowledge about company policies, Children's Homes Regulations 2015, and Quality Standards
* You must be flexible and participate in the on-call system
* You must have experience with Ofsted
