Executive Assistant
We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide exceptional support to the CEO on a full-time, permanent basis.
Your key responsibilities will be acting as a gatekeeper for the CEO, producing board/trustee packs for quarterly meetings and regular committee meetings, minuting, and diary, email and travel management. Alongside this will be other, broad and varied responsibilities to support the CEO, Executive panel, Trustees and the rest of the organisation.
The aim of your role is to enable the CEO to focus on the wider business strategy by using your initiative, confidence and ability to resolve matters smoothly, and get stuck into all tasks.
Executive Assistant Responsibilities
This Executive Assistant role will be busy and varied and will include but not be limited to:
Working with the CEO and providing high quality personal assistance and high-level business administrative support to the CEO and Executive Team
Diary, Email and Travel management
Document preparation (PowerPoints, meeting agendas, correspondence, minute taking)
Continuously seeking process and workflow improvements and supporting projects
Attending and leading the management of Trustee meetings
Handling confidential information with discretion and diplomacy

Executive Assistant Experience
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you are an experienced Executive Assistant with previous experience at board/trustee level including taking minutes, working at speed and pre-empting the CEO's requests - always being one step ahead and you will therefore possess a strong understanding of the key responsibilities of the EA position and be able to hit the ground running.
You will be confident in your abilities, show tenacity and work using your initiative and curious mindset, to proactively seek out work and build relationships across the business to enable you to do your work efficiently whilst ensuring the CEO is informed of business matters when escalation is required for decision making.
Outgoing, personable and a strong relationship builder, you will be able to take on new information quickly, thrive in a busy role that offers autonomy and the opportunity to make a real difference and preferably have a good understanding of the charity sector or similar organisation working with Trustees.
Location
This role requires you to be in the office 5 days a week, on a full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week and based in Oxfordshire, OX4. Working Hours could be 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm.
You must be onsite and visible to all people in the organisation in order to be on-hand to offer support. Please make sure you are happy with a fully office-based role before applying.
