Job Description Achievement of the Retail Annuities product business and profit targets through the implementation of the product strategy and plans. What you'll be doing: Regularly monitoring business volumes across all sales channels and product lines and analyse and report on key product KPIs at the Product Management Forum(s). Schedule and facilitate the Product Management Forum producing copies of minutes and agreed actions. Providing analysis and input to support the production of business cases for change. Support the delivery of product amends/new products to market and ensure that all developments are carried out in line with the Product Lifecycle Model ensuring the needs of customers in the target market are being met. Be responsible for ensuring that external sources of information regarding L&G Retail Annuity products are always correctly and positively represented. Review and provide product approval for new marketing literature and web content, customer communications, call centre frameworks and sales support material to ensure there is appropriate customer understanding and compliant selling. Maintaining knowledge of competitor activity, customer insight/segmentation and market intelligence. Analyse this information, highlighting trends and making recommendations which can feed into the product development strategy and used where necessary to highlight possible issues or opportunities. Supporting Distribution and Marketing in the promotion of Retail Annuity products with product, technical and market information which can be used to highlight the benefits of L&G's products over our competitors and maximise opportunities for sales. Providing product knowledge support and market insight to the business. This will include acting as a consultant on projects, participating in workshops and being a member of project teams as required so that product expertise is assured. Responsible for maintaining personal technical and regulatory knowledge to ensure there is capability to support the manufacturing and maintenance of Retail Annuity products. Conforming to relevant regulation, legislation and codes of practice. This includes following Consumer Duty principles and working with other teams such as Operational & Conduct Risk, Technical & Regulatory, Legal and Group Tax. Qualifications Who we're looking for: No specific qualifications are required for the role. However, relevant industry qualifications would be beneficial. Knowledge of retail retirement products would be beneficial. Understanding of regulatory/legal requirements applicable to retail retirement products. Product Management experience would be beneficial, within either a direct or multi-channel environment. A good general understanding of various distribution channels - direct and third party, advised and non-advised sales. Ability to analyse Management Information and report on Key Performance Indicators. Experience of working as part of a project. Ability to take the lead on initiatives and resolving issues by bringing together key stakeholders, leading discussions and owning/assigning future actions.
