Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Giver to join our team in Bradford-on-Avon, United Kingdom. As a Care Giver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalized care and support in their homes.
1. Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
2. Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements
3. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
4. Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities
5. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions
6. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
7. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans
8. Keep accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions
9. Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies
10. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
11. Compassionate and kind-hearted nature with a genuine passion for supporting others
12. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build professional relationships with clients
13. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
14. Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful demeanor
15. Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and daily activities
16. Patience and emotional resilience to handle challenging situations
17. Basic first aid knowledge (training can be provided)
18. Ability to follow care plans and maintain accurate records
19. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
20. Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally (preferred)
21. Previous experience in a care setting, personal experience caring for a family member, or voluntary caregiving experience is beneficial but not required
Additional Information
22. We pay between £13.00 to £28.00 a hour.
23. Paid Travel and Waiting time between client visits
24. Paid mileage, with payments matched to current fuel prices.
25. Paid on-boarding training and ongoing training including CPR and Dementia training. Free qualifications such as The Care Certificate, NVQ diplomas.
26. Paid holiday
27. Regular working pattern with 1- hour minimum visits to regular clients.
