Qualified Maths Teacher – Role Information:
1. Attending parent-teacher meetings to review student progress and address any concerns regarding their mathematical development.
2. Overseeing student behaviour and offering constructive feedback to improve classroom conduct and mathematical comprehension.
3. Engaging in extracurricular activities, including math clubs or competitions, to inspire students and enrich their mathematical experience.
4. Working hours: 08:00am – 16:00pm.
5. Full-time, Monday to Friday role – Contracted until July 2025.
6. Supporting students across KS3 and KS4.
Qualified Maths Teacher – The School:

Qualified Maths Teacher – Applicant Requirements:
1. A 2:1 or higher degree in Mathematics from a UK based University, with a strong understanding of child development.
2. Proactively addressing and managing challenging behaviour, fostering a respectful and productive classroom atmosphere during math lessons.
3. Ability to work effectively with fellow math teachers, students, and school staff to create a collaborative learning environment.
4. Flexibility in adjusting teaching strategies based on student progress and challenges in mathematics.
5. Ability to provide clear explanations and support for students at varying levels of mathematical understanding.
