The board of governors are seeking to appoint a dedicated, skilled, and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our energetic and passionate team. The successful candidate will be committed to helping our students achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities to small groups, individual students or whole class cover. Assisting in the planning and preparation of learning materials. Leading small group interventions and providing one-on-one support to students as needed. Helping to assess and track student progress. Promoting positive behavior and supporting students in their social and emotional development. Working collaboratively with the teacher and other staff to create a stimulating learning environment. Supervising students during lunch and break times, as required. Essential Criteria: HLTA qualification or equivalent (or working towards). Experience working with children in a primary school setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Desirable Criteria: Experience of delivering interventions for students with additional needs. A good understanding of the national curriculum.
