We are looking for a new team leader to support his current support team and to go above and beyond to meet the additional needs of this individual. Responsibilities: Provide effective leadership and direction to a team of support workers, ensuring the delivery of person-centered care to individuals with complex care needs. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the supported living service, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures. Conduct regular team meetings, providing guidance, support, and training to staff members to enhance their professional development and ensure the delivery of high-quality care. Assess and evaluate individual care plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident and regularly reviewing and updating them as required. Collaborate with external professionals, including healthcare providers, social workers, and families, to ensure effective coordination of care and support services. Monitor and manage the allocation of resources, including staffing, equipment, and supplies, to optimise the quality and efficiency of care delivery. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations. Promote a positive and inclusive working environment, fostering teamwork, open communication, and a culture of continuous improvement. Stay updated with the latest developments in complex care and related policies, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team. Qualifications and Skills: Hold a relevant professional qualification in health and social care, NVQ 2 working towards NVQ 3 Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within supported living environment. In-depth knowledge of complex care needs, autism and learning disabilities Understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices governing complex care supported living services. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills. Ability to remain calm and focused in challenging situations, demonstrating resilience and problem-solving capabilities. Proficient in computer applications and electronic record-keeping systems. Ability to build positive relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders. Demonstrated commitment to person-centered care, promoting dignity, independence, and empowerment.
