Position: Commercial Gas Engineer Contract: Permanent/Full Time Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum (DOE) Location: East London & occasional coverage across Home Counties Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (40-hour week, 30-minute lunch) Benefits: Company van (private use allowed), fuel card, uniform, specialist tools, private healthcare, 28 days holiday (incl. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected company, providing planned and reactive maintenance across a key site in East London, with occasional cover across the Home Counties. Role Overview: As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing commercial gas heating and hot water systems, primarily within plant rooms. You will ensure all work is carried out efficiently, safely, and in line with industry regulations, providing a high level of service at all times. Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on commercial gas heating and hot water systems. Diagnose and repair faults within plant rooms, ensuring systems run efficiently. Provide occasional cover across the Home Counties for holiday or sickness absences. Maintain compliance with industry regulations, ensuring all work meets required safety standards. Use provided tools, equipment, and technology to complete maintenance and service reports. Deliver excellent customer service and build strong relationships with stakeholders. Requirements: ACS Gas Qualified with at least two years remaining on certification. Unvented Qualified with proven plumbing and mechanical ability. Minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience. Full UK driving licence. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
