Reporting into the Hire Manager and working alongside our sales and operations departments, our busy Hire Controller will provide outstanding customer service to our customers by understanding their needs and exceeding their expectations daily. Your main goal is to develop business by converting all profitable enquiries into hire business, being as cost effective as possible to maximise profitable hires and sales Key Responsibilities Provide first-line contact for customers, delivering excellent customer service Responding to customer requests and queries in a timely and professional manner. Plan transport movements to and from customer sites and organise equipment transfers Processing all tasks to IT systems and paperwork relating to hires, off-hires, suspensions and breakdowns in accordance with customer requirements. Organising deliveries and collections of equipment from customer sites Carrying out courtesy calls to ensure the customer is updated with estimated times of arrival or any delays. Maintain your own knowledge of the division’s equipment for hire and sale Foster an environment of good communication between Sales and Operations.
